Guess who came home tonight......

After much depression, misery, frantic phonecalls to Chris (cheers mate!) and the bank manager.... and then parting with excruciatingly large amounts of money......

THE SURF IS BACK !

Shes no quieter, slightly more sluggish - has the EGR connected up again - almost no smoke at all..... even at night and is absolutley fantastic all over again.

A big thankyou to Streetluge Chris who spent tireless hours dragging the engine out of his breaker and then had the heart to drive it almost 200 miles to deliver it to me he even missed Knowsley !!!

Hopefully now all is well, and when I have a bit more time I'll give you all the full story of how is all went WHOOOSH in a cloud of steam & oil


Now all we have to do is PRAY that the new engine goes forever !!
