if the bidding does not reach £2000 it is very unlikely I will sell it so I reserve the right to remove the vehicle at anytime

Thats naughty, you should have put a reserve on.. I have had this done to me when I thought I had bought a SSRG last year for nothing money but the seller left the add to the end. He then told me it had just been stolen, funny that.

Its not technically allowed by eBay as this is an auction site and the adds should run to the end. If you are looking for a minimum set price then there should ideally be a reserve set. Its not fair to the geniuine bidders who want the car and you take it off auction say with 1 hour to go. The last hour could see the price shoot up to over what you wanted.. that the gamble.

I could always bid on it for you and get the bidding higher if you wanted he he he

you only need put '' i reserve the right to end auction at any time'', if ebay see that about the £2000 or someone complains you my lose your ad and listing fees

this is mainly due to the fact that ebay charge to set a reserve, they lose out on cash, thats why you cant swap on ebay ...offiacialy, hence the '' won't swap wink wink'' that you see quiet often.

thanks for all the advice regarding ebay, sad fact is everyone is at it , evading reserve fee's and final listing fees. I have advertised it on ebay just to get it seen , often is the case that the potential buyer (s) come to view and buy it there and then , and the ad is withdrawn, this has certainly been my experience thus far as a buyer and a seller, for anyone who wants to see the ad progress in the correct manner , please feel free to bid it up to £1999 for me, dont worry I wont sell at that , but whoever bids after will be getting a bargain, and if I get £2435 then I am at break even money , taking into account the Bull Bar and other bits I spent. If I dont sell it I'll just have to make the effort to use it more, but with spring just around the corner, I have to be honest and say my first passion which is my Blackbird motorcycle will get my undivided attention, weather permitting

You are not wrong, I have only had it about 5 weeks, It's a great truck. I had good plans to escape from er indoors in it , with my trusty hound by my side on a nice long ride over to the green green lanes of Wales and cheshire, with a flask of strong coffee and some butties, his dog bowl and food & water , it would have been great. I've had 2 spaniels before , I had them from puppies until August last year , aged 15 , when sadly they were put to sleep due to several age related ailments, but they loved going out for a drive , one even jumped on to the engine everytime I lifted the bonnet thinking he could get to the front seat that way, I really am gutted my new dog hates the surf , cars in general for that matter , but atfer cleaning up the sick from the boot ( lined with pvc sheeting after the first time) for at least a dozen times , I have to face the fact Alfie is not a Surf lover, so it wont get used .

Stick with it! I have 2 spaniels, a Cocker and an Irish Water. Joe, the Cocker, has always traveled well but Jake was a different matter. He used to get sick and you had to shoe horn him into a car. Now the bugger virtually opens the tailgate himself. Try "Serenum" about an hour before a journey or "Bach's rescue remedy".

No he's fine now, a bit dribbly sometimes but regularly goes from Norfolk to Sunderland with us. As long as they get a break with a good walk halfway it's fine. In fact he get's so excited it's hard to shut him up!
