Just found this web-page whilst searching for "Jap Import" on google.

It details an irate Land-Rover owner and reminded me of a previous thread about a purchaser sueing LR for false advertising as the "rugged vehicle with outstanding off-road performance" kept getting stuck in a flat farm field!

Love the part about the rims not being able to take an AT tyre!

If you dont like land rovers- FINE but why moan? the british car industry is already dead and its not going to turn ouy japanese quality cars with the personality of fridges. Land rover have an image that guaratees heitage not reliability. Lets not play the 1 up game please people!

So if they cant guarantee reliability then why build them? I am a big fan of the LR classics but no way on this earth would I own one of the new Chelsea Tractors.. they are living up to their name again.
