Had another idea, but once the camera was in, it wasn't coming out again... You could use a broad light spectrum camera, get an IR illuminator ignition switched, with a daylight sensor... Set the IR illuminators under the rear bumper...

dusk or dark, ignition on? IR illuminator light gets picked up by broad spectrum camera... perfect.
is that spanish you're speaking there?

anything more tecnical than "unscrew this, screw this in" and "hammer that" or "pick that up" and "don't touch that!" and it's all greek to me!
i swear, it was like that when i got here...

This is where mine is mounted, very sensitive colour camera but turns to b/w at night, monitor was £40 off fleabay.
Ideal for hitching up the caravan.
Laugh!!! I nearly bought my own beer.

This is the set up I went with. I did get a bit carried away by soldering the inputs for the Playstation, and running the sound through the radio. I got a cheapy camera of flea bay which doesn't work too well in low light, but I have two 55w rear work lights to combat that, and the camera survived a through drowning on Salisbury Plains.
I've also left fittings behind the bumper to add a camera to my trailer at a latter date.
          Gone from 4x4 to 1x2

i'm being serious. i did speak many languages.

before they left me here, they taught me 15 languages so that i could cope regardless of where i ended up. unfortunately i've forgotten 13 of them and also my native language. this now means i'm stuck on this planet forever, or until i can figure out how to 'phone home' .

La luz reversa enciende la energía a la cámara de vídeo y a las luces. También ilumina una luz infrarroja. Ya lo tienes, de dia o de noche, ya puedes ver lo que sucede detras...

                        happy?

but phebe wrote a song about her smelly cat?

but hey, it was your cat, so your choice to let the gypsies buy it. even if they are going to let the retarded man, Orndorf, mate with it. they're strange those algerian gypo's.
