      they have to put in a start and finish time on the computer aswell now so my mot tester said so thats why a mot now takes approx 45 mins which is the time stated the mot should take from those who make the rules

        it has to take a certain time... 45mins is what i heard...
        my mate can't do dodgy ones anymore cos he can't do them quick then get on with another.

                he cant issue a backdated mot so he probably passes it and you come back to him to collect the certificate when the work has been done.

                  Pop next time take it to MOT's Only Park Road Shirley, as the name suggest they only do MOTS so don't wont to earn extra on doing any work. I always like the idea that theres no incentive to fail to get the extra work ! mine went in 3/4hr latter 13months MOT

                        Just booked mine in for MOT on Monday,so fingers crossed. Not due till the 27th though.

                        Wonder if they'll notice lack of A R bars!!!!!!

                              What about the spare wheel? Mines in the shed!!! I just bought a new clio 197 and instead of a spare wheel they give you a can of spray stuff to put into a punctured tyre. Somethin about saving weight!!
                              So do you need a spare for an MOT?
