  • what do the POLICE do....

....when a psychotic ukranian wielding a sword and threatening a paramedic, while howling like a wolf at 1am last night???

    BUGGER ALL!

this kicked off at 1am 2 houses away from me.

my dad got in from work at 1am this morning and tells me there's some nutter outside somewhere howling and shouting like a lunatic. so i went out there because apart from the surf i got my taxi, my mums nice rover 75, my dads merc and his cab out there, so i wanted to make sure they weren't getting damaged!

i got out there to see this ukranian nutter who's lived 2 houses away for about a year with his mrs, daughters X 20, sons X 20, grandkids X 90 etc waving what i thought was a stick and this was a bit intimidating since he's about the same size as i am! you don't need psycho's that size thank you very much!

anyhow, i phoned the police, and a quick response paramedic unit turns up 1st (one of his daughters phoned them???!!!) so this guy goes to calm him down and it wasn't until the nutter came into the light i realised it was a feckin' sword!!!! ]BROWN PANTS TIME!!!!

    [/SIZE]

    phoned police AGAIN!

they turned up (20mins after i'd phoned them the 1st time) and the nutter went into his house. i watched until 2.30 from an upstairs window (i'm not so brave when there's giant psychos patrolling with swords for some reason!) and to my amazement they left at 2.30am, leaving the nutter in the house!!!!

    i couldn't believe it!

    THEN!

i'm woken up at 7am this morning to that same nutters howling and i thought to myself, nope not having it! went outside with my cricket bat because feck it, there's going to be kids out here playing soon and lots of people going to the shops etc and if the plod aren't going to do anything then i was going to.

when i get outside i see a local hard nut, and this guy is a proper hard nut, i've known him years through the football and he's a genuine sound community kind of guy, but llike i say is just the dogs when it comes to a bit of trouble. he proceeds to tell me whats happened this morning. the nutter followed an old lady home from the shops and tried to break into her house (minus the sword) but with a hammer! this old girl is next door to this tough chap who hears the commotion and rushes out and promptly batters the ukranian.

ukranian runs back into his own house, by this time everyones outside, including kids, shoppers, people gouing to work, the local shop keepers etc. police turn up and finally cuff the ukranian and cart him off.

they say to the tough guy they will have to take him as well for assault, and the chances are he's in more trouble because apart from ripping a garden gate off its hinges and attacking the old lady's front door with a hammer, he commited no assault!

THE POLICE ARE SH!TE! i used to believe that when it got serious they would be there to sort it. WRONG! I got no sympathy or respect for them now, so i don't want to hear any more sob stories from coppers or police sympathisers saying "they got a tough job" because tough though it may be, they chose to do it, and this event has infuriated me no end that i just don't care about the police, their issues, their politics or procedures. there's right and wrong, and the way they've conducted themselves is disgusting!

one psycho who shouldn't even be in this country who should have been locked up last night could have raped/killed an old lady (in her eighties BTW) and a local man fends him off effectively to stop the nutter and HE himself ands up in more trouble?

it's all bollix. this country, it's governments and police are a joke.

too late, as soon as the plod turned up, he readily admitted what he'd done in order to fend the psycho away from the old lady.

the trouble won't stop here, because i can see what's coming next.

while we were outside there were a few of the local scumnag trouble maker junky types poking their cokehead noses in and you can see whats coming. if the nutter happens to get locked up or even if he don't, these scumbags are the types who'll target the ukranean kids or the women or other guys who've done nothing wrong.

it's going to get rapidly worse around here. it's been getting bad for years, started off small, now we get sh!te like this. the council and the police have done sh@t all over a period of about 5 years to stop this situation escalating to the sort of events we are now witnessing here.

i grew up on this estate, moved out for a few years, but now i'm back and hadn't realised just how bad it's got. i really don't want to, but i'm going to end up getting uinvolved in all this cr@p because it's pushed me to the brink now. my parents are now in their sixties and i'm worried about them living here if i move out again, so its got to be made safe for them and all the little kids that live and play around here. tw@t hoodies is a nuisance, tw@t hoodies taking drugs was a problem, scum junkies and dealers moving into 3 different houses on the estate really put us on the market for danger, and now we've got imported serial killer potential. don't you just love life in this country when all you are is working class?

yeah, i always used to think "yeah, whatever! that'll make things worse!" even if i said i'd do it i never actually meant it. but this morning when i heard him again (and he was loud enough to wake me up!) i really had serious intentions when i went outside with that cricket bat!

i mean, jesus, i thought he was going to be out there with a feckin sword again! and i wasn't waiting for the plod when kids, of which i got 9 nephews/nieces on this estate (my brother and his mrs are 6 houses away and my sister and her to55er husband are 15 houses away) could have been playing out there about to get sliced in two, or three or more bits.

from now on instead of picking up the phone for the filth, it'll be the bat instead. i know it'll be me that gets in the sh!te but my dad will pay for a good lawyer!

so your local hard nut "controls" the nutter, and gets done for it..

The nutter damages the old dears property, and it gets ignored...

Isn't damaging property viewed by the law as an assault on your person?

Or is that one law for the rich and famous and s*d the rest of us?

I share your dim view, yes I know they have a hard job, plenty of examples on this site alone. BUT, if they won't, can't control these situations, are we expected to stand by and do nothing? If the law won't protect us 'ordinary' people... and the Government has its own agenda... (surely they are supposed to represent the view of the majority not the better funded lobby groups?) what option do we have left... bu88er off somewhere else, where its probably worse... or disappear off into the mountains...

I was under the impression that any verbal/violent action sufficient to cause you to fear for your safety could be classed as assault.

That's certainly what we were taught in our criminology unit at college, i'll see if i still got an old text book with anything in. If that's the case it may be worth trying to push for an assualt conviction on the bloke running round with a sword, i think that in itself should be sufficient for you to fear for your safety and i don't think it could be challenged too easily if that's what the law says.

its safe to say that the fact they left a guy at his house when only half an hour previous he was threatening a paramedic with a sword shows there's no hope.

the paramadic ran around the corner to our house (when he turned up on the scene i showed him where the nutter lived - of course i had no idea the guy had a sword, i thought it was a stick or something!) and was talking about the guy needing sectioned.

so what went wrong in that final half hour! i've had time to calm down a bit since and the more i think about it the worse it gets. the police have gone from having a professional health care worker advising the guy needs sectioned, to deciding it was safe to leave him at home (where he could do damage to himself or his own family too) and then later on, if it wasn't for our own Mr.T i hate to think what would have happened to that old lady, who, i have now found out was taken to hospital by ambulance.
i swear, it was like that when i got here...

A similar incident happened here... a guy wakes up finding a young hood trying to break into his car, runs outside and a fight breaks out ..the car owner gives the hood a good hiding only to be arrested and given 3 months for assault...
Contrast this to the Irish Republic... remember Tony Martin the farmer who shot dead the gypsies breaking into his property... An identical incident happened in Ireland approx 2 years ago a farmer shot dead a gypsy breaking into his property (there was a gang of gypsies). The case went to court and the farmer walked free...self defence... Also the local police raided the gypsy's site and found all sorts of stolen kit which was reunited with the true owners... prosecutions followed...

On reflection, I would think that the police must be frustrated by this as well...

                        Nutter threatens the whole neighbourhood...
Mr.T steps in a deals with it, whilst nearly everyone else pretends its not happening.
Rozzers turn up MrT admits what he's done...

Nearly everyone else still pretned its not happening...
                        MrT swings for it.

                        Nutter gets ignored.

Its easier to swing MrT than to prove 'Nutter' is a nutter and section him.
Roll on the end of the shift.

Awesome... whilst the rest of us have to put up with these 'nutters'...

well, if the nutter comes back and kicks off again, the police can add me to their figures of crimes solved because rather than my parents/nephews/nieces being his next potential victim i will beat the fecker to cripplehood. it's not an idle threat now either, not since witnessing what i have done since last night, if its a case of him or me or him or my family, i'll take him out in a flash, and whatever happens, happens. i'd rather do time than visit someone i care about in a hospital or worse because of this guy or people like him. and i'm not the only one who obviously feels that way where i am. all this down to the police not sorting out what they get paid to sort out?!

i may have to back pedal a bit here!!!!!

my mums just got back from the shops where she was speaking to mrs.T and it turn out that after a little over an hour at the nick, no charges will be made against Mr.T due to the circumstances of the event.

still doesn't excuse the fact they let the psycho stay at home last night to go on to do what he done this morning!
