Had a small incident earlier today while laning around Abinger Hammer, resulting in me breaking the bar that goes between the steering box and the idler, connecting the track rods, where it connected to the steering box. not only did this make for a fun 4 1/2 hours to complete the lane with very little steering as it was "held together" with ratchet straps and rope, re attached every 10 to 20yards or so. I now love all range rover drivers due to the one passing by, that dragged my non steering truck the last few hundred yards to the road to await the AA, once we had nursed it down the hill using the above method.
anyway the point of my post, other than to share my woe, is does anyone now where i can get a new one? milners and roughtrax don't list them although i will 'phone the in the morning, so any ideas?
