Go for the 3.0.
Had mine for over two years, best motor I've had (and there have been a few). Minimum problems, good mpg in it's class, comfortable on the Mways, don't get stuck in muddy car parks and pulls just about anything
with wheels whether stuck or not. What else could you ask? Fit a few extras for that $ and you have a real all rounder.
