I have, and have noticed a slight change in the lower rev range. Temperature needle is the same as normal (even after playing on the plains). So far I've done one and a half tanks, but have yet to calculate fuel usage to see if there is a difference. Normally she does about 20.8mpg, I've got the raw data I just haven't put it in the spread sheet yet to get results.
The increase in lower rev power is helpfull as my route to work is only 9 miles long but has about three hills that range from 15 to 115 feet above sea level.
    Gone from 4x4 to 1x2

Do you really need more power from your 3.0 litre???

Just idle interest.... i have had her for six months now and was doing her winter minor service... whilst underneath i noticed were a section of the exhaust took a bit of a bump... it has been dented/compressed by about 2/3's ...wonder what sort of hit that has on performance...

My old slug of a 2.4 is quite a bit better, it had other issues though makeing it sluggish, did the five clicks on the compensator screw, removed the air filter inlet and turned it round and presently running with no air filter which is a bit naughty i know but getting a set in the next couple of weeks, also a good dose of ATF in the tank has helped a lot. Now i want a 3lt

I have not noticed any increase in fuel consumption and I would say that there is a little more power although it may be the placebo effect. One noticable improvement though is that there used to be a mild jerking effect when cruising around 37 -42 mph almost as though it could be attributed to fuel starvation which has now gone. So I am glad that I adjusted the setting.

Oh how I wish the hills were only 15 feet high 'round here, I would save so much fuel!

Deffo worth the little effort, noticable increase with boost from low down with no extra fuel needed, another added extra is it is more police friendly on motorways 'cos the brute is happy to sit @ 65-70mph instead of the norm 75-85 while still being able to bugger orf when told.

No temp issues, just do it!

                        Right results time.
Average fuel usage before turning up the pump was 20.89 mpg. The last three tanks have returned 19.71, 20.80, 20.42.
The first tank had fuel cleaner in it which always burns more fuel. The second tank is almost normal driving, and the third was either heavy footed, or sitting in traffic. So I think it's safe to say it hasn't altered the fuel consumption much.
Oh and for those that took the P, here is an elevation chart of my route to work.

I wish my route to work fitted on a 17inch monitor, that's a $$$$$$ steep hill but you should be ok on 31" tyres, watch out though it looks a bit sharp at the top, may be riskin a pucture. Might be safer to walk.
