    Hi folks
KZN 185 owner with a cam-belt warning light shining in my eyes all the time,
new belt fitted @ 65k , as it approached 70k the light came on . Does anyone
know how to extinguish it before I start suffering from red-eye ????

      Hate to say this

but if light has come on at 70k (when it should come on at 100k intervals) doesnt this suggest its been clocked ? and has actually done 100k

or could be a km to miles conversion mileage?

I took my dash pod out to reset the timing belt light on my 3rd Generation Surf, it was quite easy it only took about 45 minutes. Just be gently with plastic cowls & make sure all the screws have been removed before pulling the plastic trims out or you could break the lugs or even worse the cowls. Regards Lewis.
