Yeah, I think so. I know it can all be sorted but I get impatient with these things. Stupidly complicated way of opening a door if you ask me.

It does have it's downside. If you've still got the unit, might be worthwhile just
plugging it back in. You've already bypassed the door part, so you'd only be
using it for the rear wiper as such.
