  • Big freeze ready?

Its on its way so we are told!! so I've planned time off work to make sure things run smooth..... however!! started late today and spent most of my time scratching my ***s.....I mean head. I added a coolant flush, drove around for a bit thinking when i get back and the beast has cooled off a bit, i'll drain out the old and stick in the new!? ummm
Does anybody know where or if there is a drain plug on a 2nd gen 2.4 td?? If not, how do i remove the old coolant and renew it?

    Cheers G

    Please please please snow!!!!

The drain off is on the bottom of the rad, on the passengers side. Look here.

Can be done without removing bash plate.

Oh, and I should have added, you can access the plug via the wheel arch, through a gap with a rubber cover over it, BUT, you need thin small hands to get to it!
