Hello there, i'm thinking about flleeing the ranks of the green oval cos i'm fed up of being cold wet and having bits drop off. Im looking for a bit of comfort and some jap reliability! Just wanted to know if there are any major problems i should be looking out for other than the cylender head and rear window. Also, what size tires can i run on a 2" suspension lift?

With a 2" suspention lift you can only run 31x10.5x15, but if you did a 2" body lift as well you can run 33x12.5x15.

rear window can be easily swapped for the passenger side rear window motor mate, a no cost fix. just done mine and it works a treat. and the motor from the rear has enough life left in it to move the lighter side door window.

more expensive mod parts that landys though.

cheers fellas, will check out info on here, looks like a lively forum, got some 33" x-terrains on the landy which should do the trick on a surf. What about wheel arch extensions, anyone got any DIY solutions?

arnt landy wheels 16 inch mate?? surf ones are 15inch. you would need a set of wheels off a 3rd gen or a landcruiser for 16's
