Cheers - I was in Florida April and Oct, and they do the checks there, can't remember if they do them in Boston yet - I started this year there - and got mugged - great, 4 kids - 3 under 16....ridiculous, got my stuff back in 25 mins though, fantastic, and got a ride in a police car....

I flew into Boston in February and they were doing the biometric stuff on Visa holders only. I asked the security bods about it and they were planning on expanding it to the masses pretty soon.
