  • Anyone recognise this type of spraygun?

    way off topic...

Been trying to track down a cheap spray gun to spray some sound proofing on with (got to get air into the mixture, painting it on with a brush just doesn't do it, diluting it so it'll go through an ordinary large nozzle gun, doens't work either......)... needs to be a particular size nozzle (its the consistency of double cream)... well used to be, now they have started recommending this type...

    Anyone recognise it...?

I think that means your gonna need more pressure if you want to start spraying cottage cheese around.

Jotto... I'll have to wait until my knee shows some signs of getting better... its really beginning to get up my nose...

Andy... If I can't get to Jotto's and I need to take some time over it... I may take you up on it...

Vatchman, that stuff is great... but that wouldn't get any bubbles into the mixture if there is no air... right... or am I not undrestanding this right...

This stuff needs to get fine bubbles into it. Its water based and sets solid. The bubbles act as a barrier to the sound... stopping sound travelling through the metal. Needs to get layered on like a fine mouse.
