as for using "veg power",are people using cooking oil or are they going to garages to buying a bio-diesel,i have seen on the news about bio-diesel but not seen any petrol stations selling it.on the subject of cooking oil, i know it has been asked before, but what about the tax on fuel, and what aditives have to be put in it,and is it worth all the hassel.

When you've got an hour to spare.

General consensus is yes, well worth it.

              Yep.
              • Bog-standard vegetable oil
              • 50/50 for starters, up it in the summer
              • No additives, just chuck it in
              • You have to do the tax thing, but you get used to it
              • If it starts leaking out, up the quantity of diesel but 50:50 should be fine

Never tried it myself (not such a good idea with a petrol engine) , just passing on what my understanding is.

thats a simple version, i,ll just stick with the normal diesel for now ,i have enough trouble filling in my tax return so getting involved fuel tax does not intrest me.
