I know a guy who's firm makes stainless pipes for any vehicle you want - he's in Southampton though and I think he would need a Surf to use as a pattern

I decided to try the 'convertible' mode on the way to work. (In the sticks, not the city!) Down a few lanes, over a ford, etc.

All windows open. Sunroof open. Back window down. I think exhaust fumes come in through the back window. Headache takes about 15 minutes to develop. I guess this is carbon monoxide!! Does anyone else find this, or is it just me?

                    Cheers - Jimbob

                      Yep Jimbob,

The back end of my car is "Muck Magnet", open the rear window and you know if you are running Veggy !

So far I haven't had a headache though, just can smell it in the background.

with front windows open a bit it causes a through draft (but doesn't blow you to bits) and stops the fumes coming in the back.

Also get the exhaust re-routed to exit behind the rear nearside mudflap. You can do it with a hacksaw and one of the chrome extensions from Halfords.

No fumes through the back window now. Plus you won't rip it off when in the rough stuff.

                          Cheers
