Yep , flew from Heathrow to Miami to catch a cruise ship around the Caribbean for 1 week then back to Miami and hired a MPV and drove to Fort Myers for 1 week then drove to St Petersburg (Treasure Island) , up the coast from Fort Myers for 1 week . Drove to Tampa Bay airport and flew to Chicago for a conneting flight back to Heathrow . 10 hour flight out , 21 hr combined flights back !!

Hi Tam hope you had a real good time and got in some snorkeling (even better if you went diving).I do hope that the other half behaved him self and did not embarrass you too much,I know how excited children can get when they away from home.

We went to Discovery Cove and swam with Dolphins , Stingrays and loads of other fish/mammals . No diving but loads of snorkelling inc river run .
I did not break anything , but my back did play up a bit .
Tam has been asleep since we got back .

These Stingrays were massive but all had the barbs filed so would not hurt you . If you are sensible they will not try to hurt you .Got about 40 underwater pics to develop .

To many big trucks to take pics of . But found 4Runners in every port we stopped at . 1st gens in most of the islands !! 1st , 2nd . 3rd , 4th in main America itself some with big lifts .
Went on the air boats through the everglades , running 350 small block Cheys engines with Vortex heads . Great fun , no seat belts helmets just a plastic bench seat at 40 mph .
