Toyota EA just got back to me:

The Parts No. is 47550-26110 (one side).
But unfortunately, we have never stocked this part before. It is only for Japan domestic and Euro speck models and a few Kenya models. I am asking the parts availability in South Africa (our head office) this morning. But it takes at least 3 weeks if there are the parts in stock in South Africa. I couldn’t fined alternative parts number any more. It means only this parts number is available to fit in to your vehicle. If S.A has we can request them to order sending by DHL. It takes 7 days to 10 days from there. But the cost of that part becomes high.

So, Tony, I might just take you up on your offer! Can you get the prices (exc. shipping!) for me for two complete units?

    Many thanks again guys!

Exactly! Let me look into this buying from America lark (since they are now officially part of the "Axis of Evil"!) This last bit should be said in the style of "Fozzy the Bear" from the Muppets.

          Hi Enzo,

So, how we gonna get the beer?

I know, next Surf Run To The Sun will be Kenya, not Kornwall!

          Can't wait.........

You may not get back for a 9 am start on Monday but come on down!

If anyone does come this side I can offer accom in Nairobi and I'll organise some self-drive safari vehicles like Landcruisers but Surfs are cheaper to rent.

Could be the forum's first genuine SURFING SAFARI!
