  • strange box

    Hi guys,
I have just got my first Surf and have found a strange box atop the dashboard on the passenger side. It had buttons and gauges and looks like it is an integral part of the car yet doesn't appear in the handbook.

    Any ideas what it is?

Far left is an alti meter and the other are I think are caled clinometers.

Second two tell you what angle you were at just before you fell over.

I think they are Fin useless but look cool.

cant you get a supplimentry box to go with that too.
a box with a crane in to pick you up when you fall over.

                      Geoff,

I think you are right on the nail with that... it has an Alti on it.

LOL so you have to look at that and make note of the angle as you fall over !!!!

Or maybe an arm that extends out to stop you falling over when you get to a dodgy angle !!!

It's got loads of buttons on it.... hmmm now I wonder if that's an ejector seat...............

In all fairness the alti meter could be fun if you were going sking watching yourself climing the mountains. I set mine up when I was down in cornwall
because I rembered the sea level is set from Newlyn Harbour wall. I thought that being parked on the begining of the wall would be as near as damit. Drove back to Penzance car park and caught my little girl playing with it. Not a happy bunny.
