Hi Bun,

Got a 2.4 k reg myself and has been brilliant,best truck ive ever had . Still got the original head and no problems what so ever. Towed up to scotland from cambridge a couple of times now and not an ounce of trouble. I think the general rule from the abundance of expert surfers on this site is to keep regular checks on the fluid levels and keep on top of the servicing intervals and you cant go wrong. If you have a problem , these guys on here can tell you what it is , how to resolve it , where to get the parts etc , its a brilliant site.

Welcome to the site "bun", I'm a newbie to, from West Lothian. Would love a staffie one day and will get one when the Mrs passes over (lol), she won't let me add to my Pressa and Giant Schnauzer.

Maybe when I finally get her a surf she will cheer up enough to give me the nod.

2.4 second gens aren't that bad, mine keeps going and its only me that breaks it and thats due to my own stupidity bouncing around the plain.

yes but its such fun. might be an idea to get a little run around like me and woodzie have got(save a bit on fuel too) for when you break it trying to get airborne
