Surfs on TV

A 4Runner features in quite a few scenes in one episode of "Pie in the Sky", that's about the only time i recall seeing one on the box.

The hitman who shot the Traid wannabe You Yi He in a Gerrard Street bar last May left the scene in a dark colored 2nd generation 4Runner with chrome bumpers. The police have lots of CCTV footage of it cruising down Gerrard Street (which is a pedestrianised street) before and after the shooting so you'll probably be seeing it sooner or later on one of those sychophantic "help the police with their enquiries" programs on TV.

I seem to remember them using surfs on CSI not sure which one ( the missus watches the programme not me ) Its looks like a surf ,but i think they call it something different.

The Italian Job re-make had a Surf in it, it was in a collision with something at a junction during the last chase.

There was a surf in the back ground in "Friends" the one with
Joey going off into the desert to do some filming then they all
drove off and left him.

There is a first Gen Surf in the film with Sylvester Stallone, where he competes in arm wrestling championships to win a truck, his kid steals the surf from his grand parents to go and meet his dad.

There was a white Surf/4Runner on the news last night, with UN decals on the doors, but I'm not sure if the report was from Iraq or Afghanistan, because the boss rang me and I had to turn the sound down.
