Ever since I had the autolock function on my alarm system I have always carried a spare key in my wallet and have had to use it once or twice.
Just a single key doesn't take up much space and safer than hiding it on the car.
Laugh!!! I nearly bought my own beer.

Well didn't get to fly anywhere today, try again tomorrow.

As for the keys I have found them.

when I went back to the car it wasn't locked and guess where my keys were, thats right they were inside. In my drunken stupour I had gone back to my car during the evening and curled up with the blankets in the back for a little kip, and then left and got a taxi (just can't remember any of this).

Anyway thanks for the tip I got, and also would still like the info of medieval dave if he gets the chance just in case i really lose keys.

Although I will look into getting a spare set of keys and alarm thingy as the key inside that I thought was a spare doesn't actually fit anything.

          How silly do I feel
