      Hello,

I've been towing a horse box regularly over the last 3 1/2 years and I've never selected the hard setting.

And that's with the truck filled with horsey and camping gear.

Its all a matter of choice, if you want to keep it out of the scenery and not grind your fog lamp off on the tarmac I would go for stiffer rear springs and dampers on hard. This assumes you are pulling something hefty, not a baggage trailer, mind you standard surf springs would sag under a trailer full of hydrogen!
Parts of your engine go up, stop then go back! Mm!

I always run mine on hard when towing the van as it just bounces too much if left on normal.

Before I changed my suspension I always ran hard setting when towing, as it stopped the back end acting like a trampoline. But my sisters new truck feels as stiff as my uprated truck when on the normal setting, so I'd advise you try both and see which you feel more comfortable with.

I towed my horse box with my surf at the weekend, 2 large horses on board & all the paraphanalia with it on normal & had no problems, even in the field

Suck it and see - I find mine's better running on hard ...... then again I run on hard all the time unless the boss is travelling with me !

Life is too important to take seriously !
