  • emergency brake light stays on

I'm new to the Hilux community and my new 91 Hilux I just bought has it's emergency brake light staying on while I drive sometimes. I just the brake fluid and there are no issues there. Any advice as to what else I should check out?

    thanks

You mean the brake warning light on the dash? Check the level of the brake fluid
and also the connectors on the reservoir.

Nope, they make a squealing noise.

The brake warning light can be four things,
              Low fluid.
              Float sticking in the reservoir.
Handbrake (emergency brake) not fully released.
              Vacuum assist (servo) problem.
