do upto about 1500 miles a week in truck... depending on jobs.

rotherham to carlisle isn't exactly a marathon drive though!!... Try Newbury to Falkirk, in an L reg ERF with the heater stuck on hot... then doing 4 hours heavy work.

A few years back I put 90,000 a year on my company car and 18,000 on my own car.....

Now, no company car, but between the Surf and the Volvo I'm doing just under 18,000 a year. Work is now only 25 miles from home, the shortest commute in years - I used to have to go to Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and London each week...now its Banbury to Warwick

No its not realy. but i had to do three hours heavy work out side $$$$ing it down. Then drive to darlington for another job took about half hour!! Then drive down to barnsley for another job 2 hours looking for a site that wasnt where the postcode said it was.Then when i did find it the site was closed!! bugger..Then half hour after i got home got a call out to newcastle just about to leave and it got cancelled!!!thank god!!!

tomorrow got to go to leeds then stockport then to boston up to yet! but there will be other destinations on that list before miday tommorrow!!! there trying to get me to go to droitwich before i go to stockport in the morning too....like $$$$$$ hell iam!!!!!!

My best day was Marlborough to Hungerford, then to Dartford, then Reading, then to York, then home to Marlborough......very tired...

My best day was a one off!!

rotherham to inverness then to aberdeen then back to rotherham. Then i got called out to wigan when i got home... lucky for me that i didnt do the driving from rotherham to wigan and back though!!! although i did all the other driving with out any overnight stops just stopping for food fuel and a power nap!!

Plus each site i visited i had an hour or so work to do!!!
