What condition are your rear springs in?

they are of good condition

I've had 20 concrete blocks and four bags of sand plus four bags of cement in the back of mine when I still had the original springs fitted, which were sagging but still drove o.k. if that helps. I haven't seen any specifications on load carrying so can't help any further.

Try to get most of the weight between the rear doors, i.e. in front of the rear wheels.

I think only the pick-ups can carry that weight, as they have leaf springs.

a transit connect only carries 825Kg... surely that's classed as a commercial??

Granted, I'm no accountant, but if it's a business vehicle, what difference does
a commercial status make?
