ok, thinking of selling the surf,( and only thinking about it at this stage) black 2.4, and yes the head gasket has gone, which will mean a new head (and new head only, internals are fine)absolutely immaculate with spots, sunvisor, bonnet gaurd, new wheels, window tints, etc etc.

What do you think realistically i could get for it?

if you get the head done you would be looking at about 2.5k tops i would of thought.i sold mine through the garage i got it from and sold it for 3.8k but it had to be serviced,mot'd 2 new rear corner bumpers and also showroom space and selling fees and i came out with 3k and also the day they sold it the mechanic found the rad had a couple of pin holes in it and had to get that repaired.I told them if i could get 3k for it i would be happy but to sell it for what they could get
