  • Was She Worth It?

Hi, just bought a 3.0 SSRX manufactured 1995 at the weekend and thought I'd ask your opinion on the price I paid.

    Good Bits:
Full 12 months test, August 2006 tax.
    Four new tyres.
New brake discs and pads all round.
    All the toys work.
    72500 miles.
Runs great, starts well and straight as a die, no knocks, creaks or rumbles.
    Sun roof.
    Rear privacy glass.
    Nice dark metallic blue paintwork.

    Bad Bits:
Front bumper has seen a few knocks.
O/S indicator lense cracked (new clear pair bought on eBay for £22).
A little rust around the lip of the sunroof (how the hell does it get rusty there?)
Interior needs a good valet (it looks like a pig slept on the carpet in the boot!)
    Rear window motor slow.
A few very minor dings (as would be expecred of an eleven year old car).
Silver trim around windsreen missing on passengers side.
Wind deflector missing rear passenger side.

    And thats about it.

Paid £2,500, didn't think it was too bad. What do you experts reckon

Calm down dudes - he's new here.

OK so there's a slight touch of saggy ars* syndrome - has anyone amongst us a perfect truck?

He who is without guilt cast the first stone.

Anyway, blue's the fastest colour, everyone knows that!

New springs!!!! So it isn't so. Didn't you read my 'bad bits' section? I said it looked like a pig had been lying on the boot carpet - maybe it's still there!
                            Will have a look tomorrow.
