3.0lt Turbo Diesel for all new Toyota pickups

I was talking to my mate at Kidlington Toyota today when I was picking up my starter contact parts and he told me that Toyota are going to be importing all their pick ups with the option of a 3.0lt Diesel engine. I don't know if any of you guys are aware of this?

It's about time they did that. Would be interesting to see what the engine is like??

It will be the D-4D range.

I was reading an article the other day - the range now goes from the little Yaris 1.4 up to the 3.0 used in the Colorado.

Apparently they are the cleanest diesels ever developed, and the latest 3.0 produces over 400Nm of torque - I should so lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky
