that would be naughty, cos someone might be tempted to run the second meter connected for 6 weeks a quarter = 1/2 price gas. fortunatly there is no body on here that would do such a thing!

aparently, if you try that they lock up and shut down and you need to kick them round the yard a bit to free them off ......aparently
oorrrrrr if you happen to have one of the single connection type - coax pipeing should the internal gasket ring get damaged between the pipes it sort of by-passes the meter.....aparently
I feel I need to point out that because I live in a rural area we do not have mains gas available and I only know these things because I have this friend that used to work for........

dont worry mate I have heard that gas is on it's way down there and even some new fangled stuf they call electrickery or something.....posibly by next months pony express!!

we still run off of water power down here.The only gas we know of is when you fart

but I only have gas in bottles.....no meter...honest guv
