Mrs KS keeps nagging me to get rid of my 6000+ 7" singles, 1000+ 12" singles and 595 LPs. I haven't the heart. They have proper big pictures and sleeve notes.
I did a gig up the local pub with them just for curiosity value. All the kids my nephews age had never seen turntables, except those used by DJs purely for playing 12" Singles. The place was rockin'. I played everyhting for 70s Funk and punk to early 70s glam rock up to Jazz Funk and early hip-hop. I said hip-hop, not hip op'....... deaf $$$$s!
Most are original and quite a few are Elvis, I would post a list but there's too many, It took me a week of evenings to index and write em all down, Did'nt have the pooter then or i could have done it on word and copied it,
Dont have much "new wave " or punk im afraid,
There's a great shop called "Vinyl revival" in Newbury... the bloke in there's really good to talk to!
i dusted off my old disco gear for a party the other week... everyone loved it, so i'm gonna get some more up to date stuff (i.e. a new PA and some better scanners) just for parties.
hehehe VINYL?... mines all on hard disk now... got over 30gb saved so far.
