No worse than a towbar.. It looks a bit nicer than a towbar, but ultimately, it has no use whatsoever!!!

Edit: Just going off on a tangent after seeing that pic, , would ally tubing
be strong enough to go in place of the bumper, or does it have to be steel?

Polished stainless would be ideal as it's thicker/stronger and wouldn't tarnish or rust.

Does that mean aluminium is a no-no, then? Stainless does eventually
rust, it's just more resilient than normal or carbon steel. Not a fan of stainless
or chrome, personally.

TJM do stainless aswell as aluminium bumpers and bull bars, if it's good enough for them i don't see why it shouldn't work.

see www.tjm.com.au i know they do the T15 frontal protection bumper, with or without winchmount in aluminium coz i found it on their site before. bit pricey though at over £800.

I'd forgot about those. Can remember now, you mentioned them awhile back.
