another newbie question!!

This has probably already been answerd but as there are zillions of posts I'm going to cheat and ask anyway! What year(s) are what generation of surfs?
I've noticed people saying they have 2nd and 3rd gen etc and not having a manual on the subject I was wondering whats what, if you get my drift!!
I think mine was nailed together around 91 and they did a very good job of it too!!!........................ .cheers...........widey

1989-95 2nd gen
96 on - 3rd gen

roughly, I may be slightly out on the dates, but you can tell by the body styling. yours will be second generation. you would notice the difference straight away if you saw a 1st gen, and the 3rd gen has body coloured bumpers and stuff like, and generally looks like more of an overgrown hairdresser's motor...

dont really care about engine size as i like holding up the toffies in the mazda 626;s and bmw 1.6z3's, lol, but i cant stand the way the 2nd gen tailgate opens. I go hunting and sometimes i may need a dog out quickley!!!!!
