Ever thought of having a tip of the day thread?
Well here's mine.
I'm sure I must not be the only one who's had this problem as its happened to me several times.
OK, you have had a problem with your rear window and you decide to grease everything up, only to find that when you wind up the window you have one or two greasy stripes up the glass.
No matter how many times you wipe the grease off it reappears next time.
Try this tip, open the rear door and lift the glass making sure that someone is supporting it, clean the grease smear off and then stick a length of masking tape along the glass where the smear was.
Now wind the window up and down several times, each time sticking another length of tape on top of the last.
Remove the tape give the window one last clean and (hopefully) problem solved.
Well mine was anyway.
