can any one tell me the best, if any, product to restore the window rubbers. it looks like they may have had some sort of laquer on them once. it has'nt peeled off nor can i scr#pe it off, but, it does'nt look very nice. is there a relatively cheap way to get it the way it should be. the rear side windows are the worse, they have gone a horrible grey colour.

Ajax supposed to work well on rubber, rub it on with a scrubbing brush, leave for ten minutes then hose off. Then apply some tyre dressing stuff or silicone spray.

I don't know if you can still get Ajax, perhaps ask your nan if she has some!

AhAh Ajax!!! remember that, Used to use that (and Vim) on my whitewalls,
Excellent stuff for white rubber, going to try to get some vim to clean my tyres (white lettering).
