          guesswork my friend,

Hippo has clear front and side indicators, haven't done the back yet.

When I do the back I wont have the same problems with heat like others have had, most of my rear lighting is now LED - just reverse and fog lamps to go.

Iv'e heard some of them don't take too kindly to the heat from normal bulbs - oops !!!!

I might change my side repeaters, they aint best suited to LEDs - that is unless I can find some W5W fitting wide angle LEDS - so Hippo has orange bulbs in them at the moment.

Pondering on the rear lights, might get LEDs for reverse and also fit some small spots

Trev, are you having problems with the LEDs flashing correctly, 'cos you can get these for motorcycles which might help

They dont draw enough current to heat bi-metallic strip type indicators. I suppose there's a business opening for me here...

I got load resistors so the flash rate is NOT a problem

                        However

I got side repeaters that block forward light and rely on sideways projected light - great for normal incadescent lights, useless for LEDS

They are designed for orange bulbs where the silver coloured caps hide the bulb - chocolate fireguard territory for LED bulbs.
