Had a phone call from Toyota Customer Services today. My surf is one that still needs the relay sterring rod replacing. Got my referance number and was told to take into any Toyota dealership.
Not bad to say i put in my request in MARCH! Still as least it will be done now. Lets see if my helpful Toyota dealership will lend me a new Hilux whilst mine gets done.

Had the recall done today. All done just like that. Got a Aygo, not up to toyotas' best standards but it got me to work before it started leaking diesel every where. One of the return pipes broke. Aygo 55 plate, 4000 miles from new. Not good.
Got the surf back, washed and hoovered.

Glad to hear your sorted. Didn't you put the Aygo through its paces?
I heard they're a capable little motor.
