It is just like the real thing. If it won't go over an obstacle the first time, back up and take a run at it.
              It's only a hobby!

                4Runner model

The radio control 4Runner was made by a model company called Kyosho.

                see http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_m...41703&id=11315 for example.

Go to http://www.tamiyaclub.com/advancesearch.asp type 4runner in search box for a few more examples.

                Also see http://www.zurru.de/english/kyosho_classice.htm

Amazing what you can find on the net! Looks like they were made back in the '90s. Looks like you'll need to camp out on Ebay or the above forums to catch one!

                Good luck

looks like a kyosho body on a new or scratch built "crawler" style chassis.you start to get serious about these "toys" they can start to get as expensive as a real one!

mine just a little play thing so i can get a substitute offroad fix at work or in the back garden! rear locker, front lsd. photos taken just after i repainted it after getting it on ebay not quite as shiney now!really would like one of tamiyas early hilux's but they go from £400-£500 upward! 3speed gearbox, 4wd,leaf sprung axel front & rear all on a proper metal chassis!
