How do i disable speed warning bell?

Hello. Just got a 1991 hilux surf imported from japan. A warning bell comes on and keeps ringing at 105 km/h. It doesn't stop ringing and I need to disable it. I've searched the FAQ and forums but can't find a picture of the box that needs to come out, or which wires need to be cut.

Does anybody have details or specific pictures to help me do this job?

in short you have to take off the dash, and remove the little metal box mounted to the back of your speedo unit. putting it back together can be fun, a small pair of hands would be useful! you have to re-attach the speedo cable and there isn't much slack... I managed it though, after a bit of swearing and some blood loss.

can't you remove the speedo cable from the gearbox and pull the slack through into the cab ?

its what i usually do if its tight.
