  • Fitted new springs & shocks today....

...and guess what? The nearside rear is more than 1 1/2 inches higher than the offside rear! Made sure the taller of the springs was on the driver side as per, but even if they were somehow mixed up and were put on the wrong sides, the long spring was nowhere near 1 1/2" longer than the other.

Everything looks seated O.K., I'm quite baffled...

    Anyone had a similar experience?

    Thanks,

    Shab.

No. Ran out of time...intend to do it tomorrow all being well. Within a quarter of an inch, it's level at the front...

try adjusting the front to the same as the highest of the rear and take it for a drive around and see if that settles everything to the same hieght

Seems a reasonable idea, I'll give it a blast.

[edit] Won't that make the whole of the nearside higher though?

if you measure the height all round b4 you do the torsion bars and if it lifts too much and doesn't level the rear up you can always put it back again
