Ok guys my lad (ahem!!) wants a song downloading its from the world cup in france and is an instrumental with just drums i think and it was done by a french guy (i think) anyone any ideas!!!

Right i know exactly which one you mean, cos i heard it again last night in the pub.
I've called my mate who is the events managed of said pub/club, and he will ask the dj who is due in shortly which song it is. he has 6 football cd's in front of him, and we couldn't see anything obvious on them.
i'm sure i'll track it down, but i think its a sort of medely, involving some of the safri duo song's drum and then it stops suddenly and the bagpies start with the vindaloo tune.
i will find it, you've made it my mission too now!!

How ironic that the "Official anthem of the France 1998 world cup" was by a couple of bloke from Crewe who's group name is derived from the manager of the mighty Crewe Alexandra!
