If so, it should come with a driver / utilities CD

Try going to the manufacturers web site there may be downloads for drivers there, or just stick it in and see if windows puts it in

There's no web address for the manufacturers,my new mobile arrives tomorrow, maybe there will be software included with that that will enable bluetooth connectivity?

XP seems to do quite a good job of auto recognising USB devices. I recently installed a multi card reader thingy (does SD, CF, Sony stick, etc) and after a couple of minutes of thinking all the drives appeared in My Computer without any cds. There was a cd included but it was only for use with W98. Also, I've never had to load software to support a usb camera so I think you should be ok.

Normally supplied with Driver software, but XP should support most of the latest devices. if not detected it should allow auto install of drivers via the web!
