Just like it and its as clean as mine underneath. He claims same MPG as a Diesel?? Could test it at our forthcoming meet at Langdale.

Anyone back up this MPG claim? If so i will consider adding to the fleet.

If it can do 35 MPG on a motorway run, it would be like the
        Holy Grail of Surf's.

MPG seems a bit enthusiastic to me and I couldn't live with that poor filler flap repair. At the end of the day your buying it so if you like it go for it.

I would not have parted with the kzn185 anyway. So 2 surfs in the household would not be too well recieved by mrs phoebelala!

Underpowered? A 3.0L TD would pull the 3.0L petrol along backwards!

Someone teach this guy the difference between power and TORQUE!

                    130bhp / 343Nm@2000rpm on the 1KZTE vs 185bhp / 256Nm@4600rpm on the 3VZ-FE.

Are Petrol Surfs cheaper than Diesels then? To buy I mean.

Whats going on with the filler cap door, Mind you hes taken a hell of a lot of pics and he's show'n the bad bits as well, If i was going for petrol it would be a V8 and i'd have to be rich, Think i'll keep the one i've got thanks

hehe, why do these people on ebay set themselves up to be abused?

Even the 2.4 isn't noise if a little underpowered, but the 3.0 isn't either. You can get 30+mpg, I've done it my old V6, but that was at 65 all day on the motorway, round town is about 19mpg unless you drive without pressing the throttle.

Definatly looks like a dealer to me.

A V6 should be whole bunch cheaper than that.

Whoever asked about the shifters, all the auto V6 Surfs have that arrangment of the levers.
