Just one further brainpick with regards to shock absorbers.
Will be running down to Milner's tomorrow for some of their
rear springs, but does anyone know whether their shocks
are generic type replacements for what is already on the 2.4,
or are they along the line of the ES9000's. If they are generic
types, does anyone know of a supplier of Pro-Comp shocks
within the South Yorkshire area? Wanting to get the suspension
done this week, but being an arcane devil without a credit card
means mail order delivery would be into next week. So
wanting to get some fairly local'ish if possible. (Unless TonyN
is an extremely trusting type for cheque orders ).

    Cheers.

Milners are Tokio (or similar) just a Jap version of standard aftermarket shocks.

I have a set of ES9000's on the shelf. Give me a call. 01256 473397

Thanks Tony. I'll give you a ring when I get back in later this afternoon,
if that's okay? (I have to make it look as if I'm doing some work sometimes ).

      Thanks once again.

Okey dokey then. Time for the numpty question of
the week. Finally managed to get jobs sorted, so
can start on doing shocks/springs. One quick question.
The two rubbers and cups that go at the top of the
shocks, (ES9000's). I think I'm fairly sure of the order
and direction they go onto the shock, but would just
like to ask if anyone might tell me for definite the
placement and orientation of the rubbers/cups, ,
to save me looking a right prat if I've got it wrong.
Usually, I can guarantee that every bloke on the street
will stop to chat and chuckle if I get something wrong,
so I'm trying to bypass the humiliation part this time.

Would just like to say a very big thankyou to Tony and
Linda as well. Didn't think people this helpful and nice
still existed. (Other than me, of course ).

        THANKYOU TONY & LINDA.
