I'm here this week, working out of Shoeburyness. Lucky old me. My hotel room is pink, they have no real ale, and the place is full of chavved up Corsas. At least it's on the beach and has wireless internet. Glad I brought the laptop!

I aim to spend a lot of evenings on the beach flying an RC plane, so any surfers in the area come and say hello. Dont have mine with me as I have a $$$$py peugeot hire car, but it would be good to know you lot aren't just imaginary!

Are you sure you can find a beach there last time i went to Soufend all i saw was mud....

Thats why it gets called shoebury in the sludge..

when |I saw it in daylight, it was full of boats, and the tide doesn't seem to go out.

I did spot a blue surf tonight whilst I was in 'The Chinese Wall' restaurant on the seafront though.

Had my first taste of Cobra Wine. Literally a snake in a medicine jar topped up with saki! WTF!?!?!?!?!
