Sorry to hear that mate, been there, done that.
The govn't min is no fun, got denied volentary redundo a few year back when the firm 'resized', cos I was 'needed for the future of the Co' when all my mates got £20k plus payouts, 6 months later it went down the pan and those of us left got about £6k for 12 years service.
