this is from the fuel cat site....
A more complete and even Combustiongives more power per unit of fuel. This extra power can be used or saved. If used, the engine performance will be enhanced, using the same amount of fuel, or if saved, better fuel consumption. Typical savings reported by FUEL CAT users is between 8% to 15%. Due to the more complete combustion, both diesel and petrol engines will run more smoothly. This is one of the first benefits usually noticed by users.

So i think its kinda worth a try... over time it should save loads of money...http://www.manicgamer.net

The original fuel cat was designed and used on Hawker Hurricane fighters, to allow them to use lower octane fuel on the Russian Front. I believe the fuel cat, when used with veg oil, bio diesel or any slightly impure fuel, will have a positive effect. I am not so sure about it's worth when using relatively pure fuels available in the UK. Linda fitted a fuel cat to the bullet and reckons that she is getting an extra 30 - 50 miles from a tank full of dino diesel. If it only lengthens the life of the fuel pump, due to it having to deal with a lower viscosity oil, then it is probably worth the effort.

And telling the engine management system that it's doing this.
I wouldn't bother.
if there was too much air / pressure then the ECU would cut the engine anywaynee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

[QUOTE=amethyst]found this the other day.... anyone got any experience on these or have one fitted?
http://www.hiclone.co.ukQUOTE]
For the most effective power increase, fit a freeflowing or straight through exhaust. Especially where it exits the turbo.
Have you ever tried breathing in through your mouth and out through your nose whe you have a cold?
I think you get the 'picture' .

Will be moving to a heated one i think toward the winter....
