Head light bulb

Posted a thread a coupla weeks back about head light bulbs for me surf. Just been to halfords to buy a new one got it home and I dont believe it. They have given me the wrong one. It was even listed as a toyota hilux surf front head light bulb on their computer aswell. Typical if I wanted some flashing, chrome gizmo that makes my motor look longer, wider, lower, faster, louder or more chav they can supply that no bother. I hate em, I hate em, I hate em. Had to pick up a front windscreen wiper for the mrs yaris also. It took the spotty donkey that served me 15 minutes to work out how to fit it and he still got it wrong. I thought my bank employed all the b*ll*ck jugglers but obviously a few slipped through the net and had to work for Halfords.

Try Shirley Auto Spares on the Stratford Road opposite Staples. The owner is pretty clued up on most things Automobile. If its the main beam, it's a standard H4 bulb.

Or you could try the Jap Specialist in Small Heath. He deals in lots of Surf, Hilux stuff. And he's more 4X4 Import knowledge in his left nut than all of the misfits at Halfords put together !

Headlight bulb is a standard H4, well almost, most folk hunt out the extra brite etc..............

The easy way to fit it is to remove battery and appropriate water container to get to the back of the lamp holder.
