  • newbie with price problem

Hi there just bought a surf off Ebay tonight then the bloke rings me and say's that the rear near side wheel arch is missing and 2 other bits at the front.

I was wondering if they are avalible to buy from anywhere near west yorkshire??
and how much they might be?

Also was wondering if i have been shafted??

    Cheers for any info

Tell him to knock £200 off the sale price, otherwise he's gonna have to re- list it on ebay.

          Tell you what it is:
          M reg 1995 ssrx 3.0ltr cost me round about £3300 6m/tax 12m/mot,
the bits that are missing are the rear near side wheel arch & 2 bits at the front but not sure what these are?

Its a fresh import and is still awaiting the V5 coming back from DVLA(should be this week?)

Have i got a bargin and should just try buy the parts?

          Or should i walk?

          Cheers for any info

A fresh import with bits missing and no V5 doc. leave it alone.
You can get better and cheaper. You're looking at roughly £250 to replace the 'missing' items!

Rule of thumb! Look at Keighley Trade Centre at theirs. Learn what they look like and if you see anything like it walk away. There is lots of really good surfs out there needing a good home, Just have to have a good look around.
                    i like it muddy!

if it was listed with those bits missing then fair enough but since he only mentioned it after the sale, why should you believe anything else he says?
walk away. while you are here though, have a look in the surfs for sale section....
                      it's in me shed, mate.

You've made the sensible choice, by the sounds of it.
